The objective of the training is to get answers to the following questions:
- What background information, messages, stories, and examples do spokespersons know how to highlight to emphasize the importance of their work?
- How are these prioritized?
- How are they written concisely so that a one-pager doesn't become an eight-pager?
- Most importantly - how does the created one-pager take into account journalists' expectations, who are looking for news, extraordinary events, exciting stories, exclusive information, intrigue, etc.?
How does the training work?
On a pre-agreed day, the training begins with an introductory lecture discussing the importance of one-pagers and providing examples from different companies and organizations. Subsequently, participants divide into mini-teams according to topics and their abundance. If desired, individual work is also possible, but strength lies in collaboration. When the one-pagers are ready, training participants present them to others, followed by joint analysis during which they can be made even more substantial and exciting. After the analysis, reflection, and feedback are completed, one spokesperson from each team goes behind the door and gives a quick 5-minute interview, the results of which are later analyzed together.
Training duration: depending on the group, total 3-4 hours.
